Seaside Ghost

home, (bitter)sweet, home. (Sunday, March 28, 2010)

we got home late last night, it's grey and rainy today and i just dont wanna be here. i just dont feel like this is really home so i'm having a hard time settling back in. josh goes back to work tomorrow and i have to go back to routine.

but our road trip was so nice. i really loved spending all that time on the road with hubs. we got to talk a lot and just spend silent time together. i'm really enjoying this time in our lives but at the same time, i know just off the horizon he'll be leaving for basic and we'll be apart for 10 weeks.

over the next couple weekends we have plans to go to the tulip festival on mt. saint helens and josh wants to visit the wolf sanctuary and those should both be fun. and in april were going back to california so josh can attend rsp and that'll give me a chance to spend some time with family and friends. and it'll be close enough to moms bday that we can have a huge blowout party for her! amanda and travis are also going to be celebrating their 5 year anniversary with a party at their house which i'm super excited about!

i got some really cute stuff on our trip too! i found a silk banana republic shirt which i've been searching for, a HUGE purse, and an extra outfit. the only reason i got the outfit is because i was running out of clean clothes. ;) i also came home to my package from forever21. my romper and belt that i had ordered before i left. its so hard to shop right now because the weather is so dang cold here but i know i'll be spending a lot of time in so cal and moving to arizona so i dont want to stock up too much on the winter clothes. but i'm such a sucker for boots and everyone here in washington seems to have the cutest boots!
