Kinda random, but tons of fun! The drive in both directions was long but so beautiful! Especially once we got onto the 101. Trinidad was amazing and we also stopped in Arcata and Eureka. T really enjoyed herself and once we got there, she didn't want to leave. It was quite the scene Saturday morning. Darcey's house was amazing and we had such an amazing time with her! I am so ready to move and it's been quite the adjustment coming home. It was so nice to get away as a family and just spend some real time together. With only 60 days until Josh leaves for basic we're really trying to get quality time in together. We have the Tulip Festival and the Wolf Sanctuary planned so far for April and also a trip back to So Cal so Josh can attend RSP down there. Just in time for Mom's birthday too!
There's really no way for me to put captions to tell you what you're looking at, but the most obvious are the Pacific coast and the Redwood forest are both California, the plains and livestock are more than likely Oregon with a picture of Portland thrown in and the rest are probably Washington. There were a lot of really neat bridges along the way too. My favorite was the draw bridge on the Oregon/Washington border.
